Adams: We were outfought

A win at Millmoor would have secured Leicester's place in the Premiership next season and although Adams is convinced there will be no major slip-ups, he wants the job completed sooner rather than later.

"I want to finish it as soon as possible," Adams said after the game.

"Forest could do us a favour and if they take points out of Sheffield United I'll be delighted.

"Going top is more of a consolation for the fans because we could have been having a bigger occasion.

"I always expected it was going to be a tough game but we were outfought by Rotherham which is unusual for us. Normally we're a big, strong, physical side.

"The physical battle was easily won by Rotherham and I'm disappointed with individuals in the team because they should have done better and those individuals have been told in no uncertain terms.

"I'm pleased we got a point because that was more than we deserved if I'm going to be brutally honest about it."
