The Foxes faithful left the City Ground on Saturday in disbelief after witnessing what could be the worst performance from the team in recent history.
And, for that 5-1 mauling to come against arch rivals Nottingham Forest has made the result all the more embarassing.
Not only did the Foxes fall apart in front of our very eyes, Nigel Pearson also got his tactics all wrong on a frustarting afternoon.
After going two goals down to a Robert Earnshaw double in the first half, Pearson angered the travelling fans by bringing off top goalscorer Matty Fryatt after bringing on goalless Steve Howard moments earlier. Nice on Nigel.
Now, the Foxes have the opportunity to make a quick response by bouncing back with a win tommorow night at home to Bristol City. This is where their nerve will really be tested. Anything other than a win will be not be the apology the fans are looking for.
