Leicester City's pre-season friendly with Inter Milan at the Walkers Stadium is back on after the intervention of Sports Minister Richard Caborn.
The Serie A giants yesterday announced they had cancelled their planned four-game tour of England because of security fears after recent terrorist activity in London.
But Caborn has reassured Inter officials and the Italian Sports Minister that the squad's safety will not be at risk.
City Chief Executive Tim Davies had said he would be seeking £250,000 compensation for the club if Inter pulled out of the clash.
City are hoping for a bumper crowd as the countdown continues to the new season kicking off at Sheffield United in front of the Sky TV cameras on August 6.
