At 4pm today Leicester City announced that Rob Kelly and his assistant Mike Stowell had landed the job of guiding City away from the relegation zone.
Initially until the end of the season with a view to a long term deal in the summer the duo will begin their work with tommorow's Championship clash with bitter rivals Derby County.
The City players were said to be overjoyed with the decision. City's Tim Davies confirmed that no other manager had been offered the post.
