"I thought that we started the match particularly well but didn't quite finish it in the same vein.
"It was good to win the match. That's two home victories in a row now and we have kept clean sheets on both occasions. It gives our supporters some good things to look forward to next season.
"Our first goal was a good finish. Dion worked himself into some space and got his header on target. After that it is in the lap of the gods.
"We went through a good passage of play after that. David Connolly hit the post from a good Alan Maybury cross, and we were well on top. We passed the ball extremely well and it was a follow on from what happened against Derby on Tuesday.
"Ian Walker is a top class goalkeeper and we needed him today. His save from the penalty was good and it certainly wasn't one of those when you say the 'keeper should have got it. It was in a difficult area and he guessed right. It was at a critical time of the match because we might have been on the back foot if Leeds had have scored it.
"The Walkers Stadium isn't quite a fortress yet, but we are building the foundations."
Leeds Manager Kevin Blackwell:
"The first half was garbage and I let them know that at half time."
"In the second half we created at least four clear cut chances and to come away without scoring disappoints me.
"It confirmed in my own mind that I need to change one or two things and bring in different players.
