Leicester predicted lineup vs Roma - Europa Conference League

After a 1-1 draw in the first leg, Leicester travel to face Roma on Thursday for a straight shoot-out in the battle for a place in the Europa Conference League final.

Brendan Rodgers rested no fewer than eight of the players who started the first leg for this weekend's 3-1 defeat to Tottenham, ensuring his squad are as fresh as possible heading into this season-defining game.

Here's how the boss could set up.

Kasper Schmeichel (GK) - Has played every minute of Leicester's European journey so far and that's not going to change here.

Ricardo Pereira (RB) - Left out of the squad that lost to Tottenham, Pereira will slide straight back in here.

Wesley Fofana (CB) - Rodgers' reliance on Fofana was made clear by his decision to bench the youngster at the weekend.

Jonny Evans (CB) - At the other end of the spectrum to Fofana, 34-year-old Evans was handed a well-deserved rest against Spurs.

James Justin (LB) - Timothy Castagne went off in the first leg through injury but was healthy enough to feature against Tottenham, so it's between him and Justin for this spot.

Youri Tielemans (DM) - Wilfred Ndidi is still out so it's just a question of whether Tielemans will start at the base of the midfield by himself or alongside someone else in a 4-2-3-1.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (CM) - Leicester's player of the season, Dewsbury-Hall was left at home for the Spurs game to let him rest his tired legs.

James Maddison (CM) - Picked up a niggling muscle injury in the first leg but was rested at the weekend to allow him to recover.

Ademola Lookman (RW) - It was Lookman's movement that led to the equaliser against Roma so it's safe to say he could be rewarded with another start.

Jamie Vardy (ST) - Rodgers will likely go with the newly-fit Vardy, but Kelechi Iheanacho's style of play could be better suited for Roma's deep defensive line.

Harvey Barnes (LW) - Created the equaliser in the first leg and was then glued to the bench against Spurs. Looks like Rodgers is ready to bank on him here.
