"We were well worth our three points today," he said.
"It makes a change for us to win comfortably at home.
"I felt better today than in our previous home game. We had numerous chances and could have scored more - but we are now unbeaten in five games and are starting to look a bit better.
"We are fairly solid and over all I have to be pleased with our performance.
"We have been poor at home so it was very important to give the fans something to cheer about, but I'm not getting too carried away because there is still a lot to do."
