"We're still short of some players," Mandaric told BBC Radio Leicester.
"We're pretty solid in defence. We're looking for improvements in midfield and up front. You'll probably see a few players come in the next two weeks."
Leicester are preparing for life back in the Championship after promotion from League 1.
