The Guinean was brought to the club on a free transfer from Celtic at the start of last season and showed huge potential. Unfortunately, he was a major dissapointment for a large section of fans and failed to make any real impact on the team.
Talking of the situation, Rob Kelly said: 'He's a smashing lad, but things haven't worked out for him here. We wish him the best of luck.'
Sylla will now look elsewhere for first team football before the end of the transfer window in 3 weeks time.
