Boss | Our View | |||
John Gregory | While, he is the firmest candidate so far, his appointment would be unwise, as it would not sit well with the Leicester fans, and let's face it - we've been through enough this season.
Dave Bassett | Has not ruled himself out, but again most fans would see this as a backward step, and one to be avoided.
Stuart Pearce | He's believed to have applied. He has little experience, but may work well in the Dennis Wise model of management such as at Millwall.
Craig Levein | Currently manager of Hearts in Scotland, the Scottish press have reported that he is a candidate for the job. I don't know much about him, but look how well Paul Sturrock did for Plymouth ...
Gary McAllister | It's probably too soon for him, but it would be great to see him back at Leicester City (in any capacity)
Steve Cotterill | This would be a bold move, and one that many City fans would appreciate. Cotterill is a successful manager, who's never really had the rub of the green in a bigger club environment. He's had some experience of Leicester City, and (in time honoured fashion) is keeping quiet about the prospects.
Mike Newell | Despite apparently being a fans favourite for the position, it seems unlikely. Luton are confident of keeping hold of him, and why not! |
