Something, of a journeyman, Nathan Blake has always performed well in the football league. Notably at Sheffield United, he managed more than a goal in every 2 games. He is clearly a player in demand, and Micky Adams beat several clubs to his signature, including Sunderland. He struggled with injury during Wolves Premiership season, and was available as a free agent. He has a keen eye for goal, and should be a good acquisition in terms of building up competition between the strikers at the club. Micky Adams believes you can never have enough centre forwards at a club. He has made 29 appearances at International level for Wales, helping them to their playoffs against Russia last year. He has scored 4 goals for his nation. When fit, Blake will be a good solid performer, that will chip in with goals. He will probably be used in the Les Ferdinand role of target man. | ||||||
