Despite having an astonishing 16 efforts on goal against Derby on Saturday, City failed to find the net and only forced saves from 'keeper Bywater on two occasions.
Talking of the lack of goals, Pearson said: 'It is frustrating for us that we couldn't convert our superiority into goals. You get games like that and it is dissapointing. If you look at the league table it is a missed opportunity, I suppose.
'We need to make sure we are more clinical. It doesn't worry me because we have some very good strikers. I know over the course of the season we will create and score enough goals.' Pearson added.
The Foxes play host to Crystal Palace tonight and will hope to make amends for Saturday's failure to find the net. City have scored just three goals in their last four games.
Looking ahead to the clash, Pearson said: 'It will be a very tough game because Neil Warnock always sets his sides up to be difficult to beat.'
Pearson, as ever, refuses to give any clues regarding his team selection: 'It is about choosing what I feel is the right side to beat the opposition.' He said.
