The Foxes came out 2-1 winners over Ian Holloway's Blackpool on Saturday after yet another goal scoring return from in form Matty Fryatt and it will be a case of 'same again' for Pearson.
Fryatt will lead the attacking line with Steve Howard for company, the target man has failed to find the net for the Foxes so far this season and will be keen to get off the mark against a vulnerable Posh defence who have conceded 10 goals already this season.
However, any thoughts that tonight's match will be an easy ride have been dismissed by Pearson: 'It is a tight league and they are another side that did particularly well last year, and they will be wanting to come here and get something out of the game. I am sure Darren will be setting very high standards there.
'Bearing that in mind, it is going to be a tough game. Regardless of what they have done so far, it will be a difficult game.'
Posh have failed to register a league win so far this season after failing to adapt to life in the Championship but the City backline will have to be at it's very best tonight to deny the goal potent pairing of Craig Mackail-Smith and Aaron Mclean.
