Roma vs Leicester: TV channel, live stream, team news & prediction

Leicester travel to Rome on Thursday for a winner-takes-all Europa Conference League semi-final against Roma.

Gianluca Mancini's second-half own goal cancelled out Lorenzo Pellegrini's strike in the first leg at the King Power Stadium, but with the away goals rule no longer in action, the two sides remain tied on aggregate.

Both managers rested a number of their top players at the weekend in anticipation of a game which will go a long way to deciding whether their respective seasons go down as successes or failures.

Here's all you need to know about this one.

Roma team news

Roma are expected to be without midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who picked up a muscle injury in the first leg and is not yet back in training.

Jose Mourinho rested a number of his star players for the weekend's 0-0 draw with Bologna. Chris Smalling and Rick Karsdorp remained on the bench and so will be perfectly fresh for this one, while Nicola Zalewski, Lorenzo Pellegrini and Tammy Abraham will all return to the starting lineup as well.

Leicester team news

Wilfred Ndidi and Ryan Bertrand remain absent for Brendan Rodgers but that's nothing new for the boss, who made eight changes to his team at the weekend as Leicester fell 3-1 to Tottenham.

Wesley Fofana, James Justin, Jamie Vardy and Ademola Lookman were all given some rest as they started on the bench, while Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Jonny Evans, Ricardo Pereira and James Maddison weren't even part of the squad, with Rodgers clearly unwilling to take even the slightest gamble on those four.

Harvey Barnes also didn't play a minute against Tottenham, which suggests he could start here.

Roma vs Leicester score prediction

Both squads are about as fresh as possible at this point in the season, so there are no excuses here. This one will come down to which team wants it more on the night.

Leicester were on top for the majority of the first leg but found Roma's stubborn defence nearly impossible to break down, and it wouldn't be a surprise to see this game follow a similar pattern, although Roma may be even stronger with the Olimpico crowd behind them - they haven't lost at home in Europe this season.

That home advantage looks like it'll be the deciding factor in this one.

Prediction: Roma 1-0 Leicester
