City staged a dramatic second-half comeback as the npower Championship clash at the Walkers Stadium ended 2-2.
It looked like Eriksson would suffer his first home league defeat as Leicester boss when a header from former Fox Max Gradel and Robert Snodgrass` stunning strike put Leeds in control. However, Paul Gallacher reduced the hosts` arrears from the penalty spot before Andy King equalised soon afterwards midway through the second half with a brilliant 30-yard effort.
"We didn't start very well, we did not pass and we were not very good. Leeds were very aggressive in the first half and did not allow us to play our normal game," said Eriksson. "The good thing was we showed we could fight in the second half and that is why we did not lose the game. We showed a lot of character. It was good to come back from 2-0 down against a very good football team."
Eriksson went on to try to reassure Foxes fans that midfielder King would not be leaving during the January transfer window.
"I've seen the goal on the video and it was a fantastic strike - very, very good, top class," said the Swede. "I've heard rumours but there is nothing concrete and there is nothing on the table. Let's hope it remains like that. We want to keep him."
