"He scored a few goals in Leicester's reserves last year," Sinton told BBC Radio Shropshire.
"I was tipped off by somebody at Leicester last season and he came to train with us and did well."
The former Scotland Under-19 attacking player has had loan spells with Hereford United and Northampton Town in League Two.
Sinton said: "He's got a great attitude, he's quick, he's mobile and he's a sensible young lad. He's come on vastly reduced terms to try and get his career started."
The Telford manager also revealed he is close to completing another signing over the next few days, having already signed former Nottingham Forest midfielder James Reid and defender Robbie Williams.
The Bucks will play in the Blue Square Bet Premier next season after gaining promotion through the play-offs beating Guiseley in the final.
