With a busy calendar ahead for the Foxes, Brendan Rodgers will be keen to get some points on the board here. They come into the the clash as favourites, but must have their wits about them if they are to secure all three points.
The Foxes currently sit fourth in the league despite a number of unfortunate injuries to key players. These injuries have meant that Rodgers has had to place a lot of faith in some inexperienced players and, for the most part, they have repaid him with some mature displays.
Here's the side Rodgers should name against Fulham on Monday evening.
1. Goalkeepers & Defenders
Kasper Schmeichel (GK) - The Leicester goalkeeper has recently cultivated a reputation for being one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League. A surefire starter.
Wesley Fofana (CB) - Fofana has impressed since joining from Ligue 1 side St. Etienne in the summer. His pace and ability to carry the ball from the back has made him a key player for Rodgers.
Jonny Evans (CB) - His perfomance against Liverpool left a lot to be desired, but Evans is still a very capable defender who has a lot to offer this defensive line.
Christian Fuchs (CB) - Having tried to leave the club on multiple occasions, only to be asked to stay once more, Christian Fuchs has enjoyed a surprising amount of game time recently. Taking up a new role in a back three, he looks very solid despite his advancing years.
2. Midfielders
James Justin (RM) - The youngster has been one of the Foxes most consistent performers this season, and is sure to start this one.
Nampalys Mendy (CM) - The bullish midfielder has featured in all of
Leicester's nine league games so far this season.
Youri Tielemans (CM) - Tielemans is one of Leicester's most creative players in midfield, and adds a much needed spark to this side.
Luke Thomas (LM) - Another young player who has stepped up in recents, Luke Thomas can be very proud of his performances of late. With the sale of Ben Chilwell and Castange's injury woes, Rodgers has entrusted Thomas to fill the void. He'll be keen to showcase his talent once more in this game.
3. Forwards
James Maddison (RW) - The England international is another in a long list of players who has struggled with injuries of late. This season, he's made seven appearances in the league but has rarely played a full 90.
Jamie Vardy (ST) - The main man. If Vardy is firing, Leicester are a match for anyone.
Harvey Barnes (LW) - With stern competition for places coming in the form of Cengiz Under, Kelechi Iheanacho and Ayoze Perez, Barnes will need to keep up his good performances. He's a very talented player and has linked-up very nicely with Vardy in the past.
