Pearson has completed the loan signing of Ipswich defender Alex Bruce. The Republic of Ireland international will stay at the Walkers Stadium until the end of the season and will provide the City boss with some much needed cover for the back four.
Meanwhile, veteran striker Paul Dickov has left the club by mutual consent after his second spell with the Foxes proved ineffectual, it is believed that Derby are pursuing their interest in the Scot after a successful loan spell with the Pride Park club.
Also, DJ Campbell has joined Ian Holloway's Blackpool on loan until the end of the season with a view to a permanent move. The troubled striker made an identical move last season but Holloway was unable to meet Campbell's wage demands at the end of the loan spell and the striker returned to the Walkers Stadium.
With the transfer deadline drawing to a close, Foxes fans will be hoping that struggling Premier League teams do not come sniffing, especially with further speculation flying around with regards to Matty Fryatt's future.
