German goalkeeper Michael Rensing and French striker Fabrice Pancrate have both joined up with the Leicester squad and both are eager to impress Eriksson enough to secure contracts at the club.
Eriksson said: 'They are both on trial and we will make a decision next week.
'We hope they can stay here until Tuesday or Wednesday. They have been very good in training.'
'It is very difficult because you need more time to see them. Agents made us aware of them and you check up on them.
'They want to come to us but we will make a decision next week.' He added.
30-year-old Pancrate - formerly of Paris Saint-Germain - made just 18 appearances for Newcastle United before being released in May whilst 'keeper Rensing had his contract at Bayern Munich terminated after 10 years of service at the Bundesliga club.
Meanwhile, the City boss has made two new aquisitions to his backroom staff. Chris Short has joined the Foxes from Crystal Palace as Fitness Coach whilst Bill Green has joined Eriksson as the clubs Chief Scout. Green enjoyed scouting roles at Wigan Athletic and Derby County under Paul Jewell before becoming European scout for Bolton Wanderers last season.
