The Foxes Trust has asked all Leicester City fans to get behind Ian Holloway following confirmation of his appointment at a press conference at 7pm on Thursday 22nd November.
Trust Chairman Ian Bason said "We hope the appointment of Ian Holloway on a 3 ½ year contract will now bring a long overdue period of stability to the club"
Following Holloway's impressive opening press conference Bason added "There is no doubt he wanted to come to Leicester, he had previously lost his job at QPR following showing his desire to come here before and now he has the job it is our role as supporters to show our full backing for his management team and every single member of the playing squad"
Asked about what fans would be looking for from the new manager Bason said "There has been much said about making the Walkers Stadium a fortress, but it has never happened since it was built and this season following Megson's appointment the games became really dire to watch, despite this most fans have kept coming. If "Ollie" can deliver a series of home victories and bring the entertainment back, imagine what the crowd size would be!"
As speculation will now turn to potential player signings Bason stated "There is now a period of about a month to assess the current squad before Ian Holloway can sit down with Mr Mandaric with a potential shopping list, with the knowledge that Milan has previously mentioned in the media that a few quality signings are required for any chance of a promotion challenge this season"
